Welcome to Our New Website!

June 16th, 2010    |    8 Comments »

The Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America is proud to launch this exciting new website. A great deal of planning and many hours have gone into this project, and we feel the result is a giant leap forward from what has gone before.

Our objective has been to strengthen the website, as a platform for the distribution of news and information about the Eastern Diocese, and as a way to advance the overall mission of the Armenian Church in America.

The re-designed site incorporates revolving features and images, strong calls to action, and a reorganized structure that will make the wealth of information more easily and intuitively accessible to our users.

It also features expanded functionality, with a growing online video library, resources from the Diocesan program departments, and evolving content which will reward frequent visits to the site.

(By the way, if you’ve visited the site in the past, you’ll notice that we’ve changed our URL to Please feel free to bookmark it on your browser. For your convenience, our previous URL will still redirect you to this address.)

An undertaking like this will always be a work in progress, and we welcome your feedback, your suggestions, and your ideas for enriching the content on the site.

Most of all, we hope this will be a site where members of the Armenian Church and people from the broader society can interact, discover, and gain sustenance from the beautiful, holy heritage of the Armenian Church.

Our Lord Jesus Christ christened Armenia as the world’s first Christian nation in A.D. 301. Some 1,700 years later, the Armenian Church remains an active and creative force, shining His light on our world. We are grateful for the opportunity to share that light with you.
