Department of Youth and Education

The Department of Youth and Education oversees Sunday Schools, Armenian Schools, and adult education initiatives. Its goal is to provide comprehensive Armenian and Christian educational opportunities for Armenians of all ages. Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries

The Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries oversees the ACYOA Juniors and Seniors, as well as the Diocesan Summer Camp programs, St. Vartan Camp and Hye Camp. The mission of the Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries is to inspire youth and young adults to develop their Armenian Christian identity by creating experiences which help them connect the faith and culture of the Armenian Church to their daily lives. Communications Department

The Communications Department provides information about Diocesan and parish events, and helps publicize the activities of the Armenian Church in Armenian and non-Armenian media. Department activities include the writing of press releases, the production of a weekly eNewsletter, and the maintenance of the Eastern Diocese's mobile phone app, Vemkar. The Communications Department is also responsible for photography and videography; it routinely produces short video clips and multimedia presentations for a growing online audience.

Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center

With thousands of books, videos, maps, pictures, and other resources, the Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center, founded in 1987, helps researchers, academics, teachers, and the community-at-large learn about the Armenian community and its rich history. Department of Stewardship and Development

The Department of Stewardship and Development designs and coordinates the Archbishop's Annual Appeal, the main fundraising campaign of the Eastern Diocese. The department also oversees a number of other fundraising initiatives and maintains the Diocese's mailing list, as well as various subscription databases.

Departments of Finance and Facilities

The Department of Finance handles financial and human resource responsibilities at the Eastern Diocese. It also oversees mail distribution and office supplies inventory. The Department of Facilities maintains St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral and the Diocese's offices, meeting rooms, and halls. Department of Music Ministry

The Department of Music Ministry works closely with the St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral Choir and with parish and mission parish choirs across the Diocese. It produces resource guides and other tools for organists, choir members, and altar servers who regularly take part in the celebration of the Divine Liturgy.

St. Vartan Bookstore and Gift Shop

Based at the Diocesan Center, St. Vartan Bookstore and Gift Shop sells thousands of items, from CDs and books to artwork and souvenirs. The bookstore is open to the public and reaches a worldwide customer base with its online catalogue. Please visit the bookstore website to learn more.
